As Japanese descendants born in Latin America, we have been influenced by the customs of both cultures. As a result, we learned to pay special attention to presentation, and are used to express our feelings more openly. Using these two ideas, we created the Saibu's 'mojo':
"Express your kimochi".
Kimochi is the Japanese word used to refer to someone's inner feelings (like gratitude, friendship, love, joy, apologies, etc.). Generally, we express our kimochi with words, but when they are not enough, we rely on little details, presents or gestures. However, importance is placed on the feelings involved and not on what is given.
We try to link the 'kimochi' itself with the details that express it. And
that's the idea behind Saibu, which means "detail" in Japanese, like the little
something extra that adds value to to anything we are offering.
With our products, the giver would be able to find an extension of themselves
through our products designs, colors and concepts.
